How Eryn's Kids World Came to Be and What is Our Vision!
We are a small Eco-Friendly Canadian business, a family business that started with a Canadian mom putting her sewing skills to good use and having a strong desire of reducing waste in the landfills and reducing the costs we all face once our kids come into our lives.
Not long after the birth of our first child, we realized disposable diapers and pull ups / potty training pants were piling up in the trash bin, rapidly, and the money spent on them was considerable. What hurt the most was that each of those diapers and pull ups got to be used just once, regardless of being soiled or not! It was such a waste! It was disheartening! Therefore, the idea of reusing and recycling came to mind, and after sewing a batch of those absorbent nappies/undies, we realized they did indeed save a fair amount of money, and we weren't disposing any of them into the trash, at least not until our last child outgrew wetting the bed.
The most awesome thing was that these pull ups could be handed down to younger siblings, and most of the material they were built with was natural and/or organic (Bamboo, Cotton, and Hemp). Better yet, the fact that 85% of the material of our cloth pull ups and potty training pants were biodegradable was empowering and fulfilling. Very little goes to waste!!!
It's been 10+ years since we started this little business, which products are all handmade in Canada and built with quality material. We love the idea we are helping to saving money and keeping the environment clean! Most importantly, we couldn't have been in business, for these many years, if it weren't for your support; and for that, we are forever thankful!
